I loved your mom! She was a strong, creative soul and she was very accepting of my silly teenage self! She taught me to love nature and the Arnold area where we still have a cabin. I think if her every time I pass their road! Great Mother’s Day post!
I was someone's child until I was 71. My Mom passed at 100 in 2017. Being an "orphan" these past years is a process of adjustments---- greatest being the degree to which I underestimated my need for her presence. Little did I know how much comfort can be found in being a child well into my old age. Thank you for your thoughts on this Mother's Day.
How fortunate for you both. It is that knowledge of the comfort of a mom's presence that permits us to comfort others when they most need it. (and letting them overcome when suffering is a learning moment.)
This is Lovely; thank you.
Beautiful ❤️
Your mom did a great job!
Thank you, and your 5 are blessed to have drawn you in the mom lotto.

Well, you two knew each other for a number of years. One thing we still have in common, Wendy, we were both blessed with pretty special moms.

Thank you for sharing this. Your parents were very good looking.
Too bad it skipped a generation!
Not so! You inherited their good genes.
Well, thank you, and I certainly hope so. Dad lived to 95 and Mom 97!
